NørdCon 2025

The national association Age of Sigmar Denmark aims to bring together all Age of Sigmar players in Denmark, showcase the game to new curious souls, and be a positive driving force for this cozy hobby!
They will be participating with demo games and also helping out as judges in the painting competition!

Altered TCG is a European tabletop board game & collectible card game, which features a unique alternating playstyle and tabletop elements, while keeping player experience simple & cohesive.
The game can be explained in under 10 minutes, and a play-round takes about 15-20 mins.

The workshops are run by Chromanauts’ own volunteer members, which include some of Denmark’s most experienced miniature painters. Participants will have the opportunity to work side by side with skilled instructors in both open painting workshops and more focused sessions with specific themes. The program includes, among other things:

• Open Workshop – an open workshop running all weekend, where you can bring your own projects, work on them, and receive feedback and inspiration.
• Basing Workshop – learn how to create atmospheric bases for your miniatures using accessible materials and techniques.
• Airbrush Workshop – an introduction to airbrush painting, including techniques, maintenance, and hands-on practice.
• Basic Sculpting Workshop – creative conversion and kitbashing of miniatures to create unique characters and models.
• Advanced Miniature Painting – working with light, contrasts, textures, and other techniques to elevate painting to an artistic level.
• In addition, we will host four speed painting competitions during the weekend, where participants must paint a miniature within a set time, and we hope to award the winners with an Army Painter product.

If you’re into fantasy and epic battles on the battlefield, then you need to try Conquest - The Last Argument of Kings!

Conquest is a tabletop wargame from Parabellum Games in Greece, where you command an army of miniature figures against your opponent.

In Conquest, you can play as noble knights, undead Romans, furious Vikings, even angrier flame-haired dwarves, and orcs riding dinosaurs!

At Nørdcon you can try the game completely free - we’ll be ready to teach you the rules and answer any questions you may have about this fantastic game.

Sunday: 10-12 - Stage

Copenhagen Sport Stacking Club will be showcasing their awesome sport on stage - experience lightning-fast stacking and ask questions afterwards!

Sport stacking is a sport that’s all about efficiency, focus, and timing. In short, the sport is about stacking 9 or 12 specially designed cups in predetermined sequences at lightning speed.

Our talented photographer Dem is, as usual, planning a cosplay photoshoot, where both individual and group photos will be taken! More information will be available on the day.

At NørdCon we are joined by Empire, a Danish living card game with its first release just around the corner. Join them in the gaming area for a demo game and a chat with the developers.

On Sunday, they are hosting a beginner’s tournament for everyone who tried a demo game on Saturday. Participation is free, and the winner will walk away with a full playset when Empire releases on October 31!

Become part of a sea of neon lights as we present a spectacular Vocaloid concert show, featuring a selection of songs from various Magical Mirai concerts. Alongside the glow of penlights and the distributed glow sticks, there will be a light show to amplify the wild atmosphere. The concert footage will include subtitles with marked calls, making it easier to shout along and fully join in the cheering.

The Chromanauts, Nørdklub Roskilde, and other skilled painters will be showcasing their stunning miniatures and armies in the miniature painting workshop!

Nintendopusheren is bringing a retro console station setup, where you can play with friends, acquaintances, and new faces!
Based in Inner Nørrebro, Nintendopusheren is well worth a visit to explore their huge selection of old-school and modern games.

An event that is part escape room and part theatre. An opportunity to meet new people, join forces with them, solve mysteries, and outwit all other teams.

CATEGORIES
- Single Humanoid or Monstrous Miniature up to 55mm height -
A chosen single model up to 55mm in height. The height is measured from the lowest to the highest point of the figure itself. Banners or other protruding parts are not counted in the height.
The model may be mounted on a steed or vehicle, but this is included in the height.
Small decorative figures on the base are allowed, but the main miniature must remain the focus.

- Any large single miniature, monster, or vehicle -
A chosen single model over 55mm in height (excluding the base). The rules are otherwise the same as for smaller single models.
Large figures can include monsters, big beasts, war machines, vehicles, or aircraft. The focus is on painting techniques suited for larger models.

- Group or Diorama -
A group consists of 3 to 10 models with a thematic connection.
A diorama is a creative piece focused on storytelling, atmosphere, and/or interaction between characters. For example: a duel, a narrative scene from a story, or a framed diorama.
For practical and space reasons, the base/total size may not exceed 30 x 30 x 30 cm.
Judges will evaluate uniformity, color consistency, composition, how well the piece comes together, and of course the quality of the individual models.

- Open Category -
Maximum size 30 x 30 x 30 cm. For entries that don’t fit into the other categories.

- Best Young Painter (15 years or younger) -
This special award is open to all participants under 15, regardless of category!
All eligible young painters will automatically be nominated for this prize, which will be judged and awarded based on overall performance across the different categories.

Mikufans Denmark is offering an interactive introduction course to cheering with glow sticks: wotagei. This cheering art is a central part of the atmosphere at Japanese pop and idol concerts. Glow sticks will be handed out so everyone can join in as we practice the most common swings and calls to popular idol pop songs and hits from both old and new Vocaloid concerts.
